At The Art of Tree Surgery, we typically grind stumps 6–12 inches below ground level, depending on your needs. This ensures the stump won’t regrow and the ground can be used for other purposes.
The grinding process produces wood chippings mixed with soil. These can either be removed by us or left behind for you to use as mulch in your garden.
